Registration fee for either seminar: $750 per person.
Registration fee does not cover
travel, accommodations, or Continuing Education Credits (CEUs).
In addition to the seminars and implementation plan created by each team, the registration
fee includes a beautifully designed and

- Three modules of the
LiFE curriculum (Growing Food, Farm
to Table & Beyond, and Food & Health)
- Copies
of Ecoliteracy: Educating Our Children for a Sustainable
World, edited by Michael K. Stone and Zenobia Barlow
- Copies of Getting Started:
A Guide to Creating Gardens as Outdoor Classrooms, designed and published by the
Center for Ecoliteracy in collaboration with Life Lab Science Program
- One copy per team of Nutrition
Education: Linking Research, Theory, and Practice, by Isobel Contento
Fees also cover:
- Field trips during the session
- Healthy breakfasts and lunches for all five days
- Two
dinners (evening sessions)
Estimated cost for accommodations and remaining dinners is $750 for a total of $1,500
per person for the week, beginning Sunday evening through Friday noon in Berkeley,
and beginning Friday evening through Wednesday noon in New York City.
A limited
number of full and partial scholarships will be available for teams and members of
school communities demonstrating need. For scholarship information, please indicate
your needs in the "Other Comments" section of the application form.
CEUs are available for an additional fee. If interested, please note in the "Other
